Women know The way to rear up children (to be just)
They know a simple, merry, tender knack
Of tying sashes, fitting baby shoes,
And stringing pretty words that make no sense,
And kissing full sense into empty words.
-- Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Isn't that a beautiful way to start your day? I always feel a bit more alive inside when I read timeless words of wonderful authors from the past. I hope it reminds you that the little things we do are what make up the love we share. Our kind words whispered to a crying child may make no sense to them, but they know they are loved. Our kisses are the action that connect the love in our hearts to the words from our mouths. What a blessing to be a mother! Remember the simplicity of love today...
