Moms, sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to take advantage of the great opportunities right at our fingertips! Denver Botanic Gardens has a variety of classes that is both impressive and somewhat intimidating to your average mom. So, I picked one that I thought would be a good place to start: the Edible Garden.
The class is called The Edible Perennial Garden on May 29 from 9-11am. The cost is $29 for non-members and will focus on learning how to combine a perennial garden with your edible fruit and vegetables plants. What's great about a class like this is not just that you get a break from your normal routine and the hum of kids running wild, but that you can walk away with new knowledge and a plan to do something useful and beautiful when you get back home! You'll want to sign up soon.
Have you taken classes at a local extension office, community college, or museum? Tell us about it!
