Race for the Cure Colorado

Women all over Colorado will unite in a show of unity, support, and triumph on October 3rd! The fight against breast cancer is being fought all over the country, but you can show your support during the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Denver.

There will also be events in Aspen and Colorado Springs - as well as across our great country and around the world! When women unite, great things can happen. There are so many ways to make a difference. Find out how you can join a team, make a donation, participate in an event, and much more! If you don't already know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, someday you will. Join the fight and support the pursuit of a cure.

Anyone can do it, anywhere, any time of the year. Countertop composting may be your best option if you live in  a small place. But believe me, you want to get this stuff out of the house as soon as possible. Seriously.
That's why what you really need to know about is what goes in there and where to put it. I've read books on the subject (yes, actual entire books) and here's what it boils down to: Get yourself a good collection bin for inside and a realistic spot to put it outside (I use an old plastic ice cream container by my sink and then a standard bin with lid in my garden.)Stick with vegetable and fruit debris primarily along with egg shells and coffee grounds.Although coffee grounds can go directly to the dirt, all else needs time to decompose. Frisco's Wassail Days

I'm so excited to bring you the details of this family event in Frisco, Colorado! Nothing says Christmas like getting up into the beautiful Rocky Mountains and celebrating the holidays nestled in a cozy town with your closest friends and family. Fresh snow. Lighted trees.
