Dinner and Dirty Dishrags

I'm writing this post to pacify myself.

Monday night we had a fantastic group of people over to our home for dinner. This is by no means an unusual  occurrence (as I'm sure our neighbors would attest). Generally my house is picked up and ready for guests to arrive. There may be a few leftover dishes in the sink from finishing up meal preparations, perhaps a stray toy disregarded in the excitement of the arrival of a friend. And I assure you that even if I had cleaned the toilet just an hour before I expected guests to arrive there would no doubt be a little dribble around the bowl from a certain young man.

This is the stuff of life.
