But as every mom knows, it's often that 1% that we unearth in ourselves that keeps us going. Taking time to do the things that we love helps us to keep perspective when things are not the way we hoped they would be... That happens at least once a day in my house.
Maybe your passion is not writing, but it's another form of art. Maybe it's gardening or volunteerism, outdoor adventure, cooking or your paying profession. Whatever you love, I hope that my insights and ideas will give you encouragement to keep doing what you love.
I hope too that it will remind you of what is most important. Being a mother is the most wonderful job in the world. We get to love and guide our children and help them to be the best they can be! It is a daunting and thankless job, but I can't imagine anything else I would rather spend my life doing.
